About
IPMS/Atlanta is the Atlanta, Georgia chapter of the International Plastic Modeler's Society.
We are a scale model building club that meets throughout the year to discuss, build, share, learn, and teach all things scale models. Despite the word 'plastic' in our name we welcome all scale model builders, regardless of the type of materials they use. We are a friendly bunch with with builders that range from novice's to master modelers!

Mission Statement
If you are building models, or thinking about building a model, consider contacting one of the local
chapters and sit in on a meeting to see what’s going on. Meetings usually include people with many continuous years experience in modeling. Also, some folks may be new to building or just getting back into the hobby after years away.
Varied individual background and a range of modeling experience and interests are normally
represented in ships, armor, aircraft, cars, figures, science fiction, Gundam and possibly dioramas. Bring a completed or work-in-process model to share your build experiences with the kit and techniques you used in the build process
